Ben's comment as of 11/15/19 : As of today we have 10 deer in the contest including one I haven't seen yet. This year we started out HOT ! Eighty Eight degrees broke a record from 1877. That wasn't yesterday. The WCS taken on that hot day is a Piebald DOE not in the contest. I thought you would like to see it. The DOE taken by Dalton Moyer was actually a Button Buck with the wrong accoutrements. He called me very confused. On my birthday, a rainy day, check out the WCS 180 Class BUCK taken by Zachery Grazioplene. It's maybe going to end up in the TOP TEN in NYS. LIFE  IS  REALLY GOOD ! We went 22 days with no deer in since 10/09/19, but then TWO POPE & YOUNG'S came in. LIFE  IS  GOOD !Keep em coming, especially you 20 Young Adults. We have never gone 22 days without a deer coming in 23 years. But I'll tell you what, it gets me excited because they will come. They always have. The last day of the Early Bow Season Joe Trieste took his first BUCK. Boy was I glad to see him.
If your treestand is rocking and rolling in the wind go hunt standing corn. If there is a puddle of water in the field there is no reason for the deer to leave it. They have water, food and sex available without leaving the corn. The weather doesn't bother the hunters with the bowhunting sickness. The deer keep living their lives in spite of the weather because they know the deer eat, sleep and drink every day just like you do.  BRING EM IN !  & READ ALL ABOUT IT !
My final comment is we have never had a Deer Contest that worked out like this year. We had 9 deer brought in, 7 of which are one the board winning money. The other 2 deer brought in are $10.00 Blind Drawing winners. So the bottom line is every deer brought in in 2019 is a money winner. LIFE  IS  GOOD !
NOTICE YOUNG ADULTS:  There are 20 Young Adults in the contest & 93 Adults.  GOOD LUCK YOU YOUNG ADULTS - Bring Em In !

                                                   LIFE  IS  GOOD !

If your interested, here are my political views read on. If your not interested,
like I say below, you deserve what you get and have, and don't read them.

This is as of 2017: 47% of the people in this country do not pay taxes and probably
voted Democratic, because life works for them just fine. Of the 53% majority left,
only 65% of them vote because the other 35% of them don't vote because politics
has them upset for one reason or another. YOU DO THE MATH! We all know the
definition of insanity is not changing anything and expecting a different result. The
average family income is down OVER $4800.00 from two years ago. If that doesn't
get your attention, then you deserve what you get. What matters, the only thing
that matters is we need a change. Who knows what, who did what, who said what,
who promised what, doesn't matter, WE NEED A CHANGE, and if we don't get it,
well it's not like me to say, but,
days before the election I had a typical non-voter in the shop and I kind of got in
his face. He said he never voted unless the person he wanted was running. I said
who do you want? He said Ron Paul, but he's so pissed off at politics in general
he is not going to go write in Ron Paul's name. I don't get it. He sure had a whole
bunch of opinions for a person that doesn't vote.

(Get your butt out and vote - some of my relatives
and yours gave there lives for your right to vote - cherish it.)

They say on the internet, I'm opinionated. Yes I am. I
try real hard to make this a better country and run my
business correctly. Life must suck to be a "Post turtle".

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher,
who's hand was caught in the gate while working cattle,
the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man.
Eventually the topic got around to Obama being our president.
The old rancher said, 'Well, Ya know, Obama is a "Post Turtle''.
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a
'post turtle' was. The old rancher said, 'When you're driving
down a country road and you come across a fence post with a
turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'.

The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face so
he continued to explain. 'You know he didn't get up there by
himself, he doesn't belong up there, and he doesn't know what
to do while he's up there, and you just wonder what kind of
dumb ass put him up there to begin with'.

It is not a NEW WORLD now, but it is a world where BAIL OUTS should
have a country that we need to protect and cherish, The Constitution
of the United States and our Bill of Rights. OUR FREEDOMS.

I'll keep my country just the way it was, my freedoms the way they were
when I was growing up, and you can keep all the CHANGE in a dark and
unsanitary place.
There is no freedom without capitalism and there is no

capitalism without freedom. I'm concerned about Small
Business. I'm concerned about my kids future. I'm really
concerned about my five grandchildren. And most of
all, I'm concerned about are countries future, because of
the past leadership, if you can call it that.
