TOM  SAWYER: 11/10/18
          107 1/2 LB DOE

Tom was hunting at his camp near Belfast, NY when he looked up the hill
and saw a doe coming. She kept looking behind her and Tom looked for the
buck he knew was following her. After a while he located it and decided he
was the one to fill his bow tag. The doe kept coming and instead of going in
front of his treestand, she went behind it. Tom thought she is going to wind
me and sure enough he heard her front foot slam into the dirt. Then she blew
and ran around to the front of his stand. Tom looked over his shoulder and
saw the buck walking away with his tail tucked tight between his legs. Tom
turned and the doe that spoiled filling his buck tag was at 14 yards. Tom came
to full draw and his Slick Trick was on it's way. The doe only went about 50
yards after the perfect complete pass thru shot. Tom was using lighted nocks
and said it made the hit a no brainer in knowing where the hit was and that it
went completely thru.
        Like a dumb-dumb I left my phone home so I don't have a picture, but I
have asked Tom to send me one. Currently 11/13/18 his doe is in 1st place.
