Eli went hunting and the wind was definitely wrong for his
treestand, so he just stayed on the ground and tucked
himself into some brush.
He watched this doe for about 35 minutes before the 15
yard shot presented itself. He was using a Rage broadhead
and the doe only went about 40 yards.
He has been bowhunting with his son Easton in the picture.
Easton is also in our deer contest and I wish him all the luck.
What a super family.

Eli was hunting on the ground which he prefers when he took
this super buck. He saw the buck for about one minute before
he got the shot. The buck was on the move, Eli drew his bow
when it went behind a tree, was down on one knee and for no
reason the buck stopped and the 10 yard shot at 12:54pm was
on it's way.
This is Eli with his son Easton, who can't wait till he can bowhunt.
Eli was hunting in Churchville, using a Rage Broadhead. He didn't
get a pass through but the buck only went 80 yards.
He has a ground blind between two bedding areas which has
worked real good for the past two years.
This box the buck is in is for ice fishing and I think it's the neatest
thing I have ever seen. Eli just slid the box out of the truck and
moved it over to the scales. Easton got the front legs, I had the
rack & Eli had the back legs and it was cake to get the buck on the
scale. After we took pictures we slid the buck off the scale into the
box and then the best part happened. Eli lifted the box up and set
it on the tailgate. Easton kept it from sliding off the tailgate until Eli
picked up the box and slid it in the truck box. For 22 years we have
loaded and unloaded deer for our contest and I have never seen
anything work this effortless. The buck weighed 175 pounds and I
don't know what the box weighed but at no time did anyone have
to lift all the weight, because the other end of the box was on the
ground or on the tailgate. A SUPER IDEA & PRODUCT - You could
tow it behind a wheeler and use it for all sorts of stuff. This Eli is
one smart fellow and a good bow hunter to boot.
