8 Point 98 2/8" BUCK
Aaron was hunting on his property in Murray NY, where he and his family have been working on it for
two years. He had dinner reservations for 8:00pm to take his bride out on the town, thinking he was
just going to hunt and probably not get anything. Little did he know. His daughter Brenna (below) who
is a great shot with a bow can't wait to be old enough to bowhunt.
There was nothing moving and he was playing with his new phone wondering if a little buck that was
grunting his head off the day before would repeat. He looked down and standing just 7 yards from his
tree stand tree was this buck looking around not knowing Aaron was there.
Aaron said things got exciting real fast. The buck turned kind of quartering away and Aaron sent the
airmail message with the 100 grain Muzzy leading the way. The pass thru shot produced a blood trail
that was both sides and only went about 40 yards, which was no trouble to follow. He had to drag him
about 50 yards to get him where he could hall him out with his tractor. While dragging him out, he did
a number on his back, and is going to order a heavy duty deer sled from Cabela's. Aaron has been
going thru pictures from last year. He thinks this buck is one he missed last year.

Aaron took a doe and said he had a choice of getting it weighed, or taking it to the butcher, not
both. He had some sort of a commitment with his bride so she never got weighed, but did get
her processed.
