135 LB DOE

Brett is no stranger to the Creekwood Archery Deer Contest.

You will probably see more of him later in the season.

What you can't see in this rotten picture I took is Brett pointing to 135 pounds on the face of the scale. This is I believe the second largest Doe we have ever weighed at Creekwood.

The shot was out of a tree stand. Twenty yards. The Doe turned took three steps and tipped over. The broadhead was 125 grain Thunderhead.

There was a second Doe with the one pictured who was very lucky she didn't experience the same problem, but Brett couldn't quite make it happen. He said he was kind of glad he didn't as he had his hands full just getting this one out of the woods.
